User Portal UI Configuration
If you have not made any configuration changes yet, please see How to make configuration changes
It is possible to change the way that some pages appear to the end-user so that they match any required branding in terms of colours and images.
This article shows you how to configure the look of the idenprotect User Portal. If you want to see how to configure the look of the idenprotect Authentication Portal, see Authentication Portal UI Configuration
Configuring the idenprotect User Portal branding
This configuration can be found in: -
- The User Portal UI section in the idenprotect Core Platform Admin Console Config Tab
The idenprotect User Portal has a number of brandable components as shown in the diagram below
To change the look of the header or footer, select the component you wish to configure. The following components are modifiable: -
- Background Colour
- Text Colour
The input to these fields can be done using Hex codes or when you click in the field, a colour chart will appear and you can pick the colour you want to use.
Note that you will not see a preview of the Header and Footer as you make these changes
To specify a logo image, select the choose file button and navigate to a suitable file for upload. You should see the text "No file chosen" will update to the filename you have selected.
The logo will be scaled to fit on the header bar and can, therefore, be a fairly small image. The image should be of reasonably high quality and the minimum we recommend is an image with a height of 100 pixels. Please consider file size as very large files may take a moment to load when the user arrives on the screen.
To submit your changes, please ensure you click the Submit button at the bottom of the page. If you have uploaded images, you should now see a preview of that image on the Configuration screen.
Background API calls will be made so that the changes are applied immediately. Please note that if you have previously loaded the idenprotect User Portal page in your web browser, it may have cached the old settings so closing the web browser and re-opening may be required before the changes are noticed.
Resetting back to default
To reset the UI Configuration back to defaults, simply clear any values that have been modified. When you submit the changes, the defaults will be applied.
