A Windows application can be run as another user by pressing Shift key and right-clicking the Windows application to select the "Run as a different user" option. An authentication is required to grant access to run the application as the other user. Typically, the username and password is used for authentication. As an alternative, it's possible to use an idenprotect identity for the authentication.

  • idenprotect for Desktop - Windows version 3.12+ must be used.

Before an idenprotect identity can be used to run an application as another user, the following must have been completed.
