Changing Admin Passwords

This article is intended to be used after the idenprotect Core Platform has been installed as part of Post Installation Hardening. If you have not yet installed the idenprotect Core Platform please Start Here for iDENprotect Server


Once the idenprotect Core Platform has been installed, we recommend that the default password for the built-in administrator account is always changed.

Changing admin Passwords

  1. Log in to idenprotect Core Platform Admin Console in https://idenprotect.server.url. If you have not logged in before, see the First time login and navigation
  2. Open the Site Tab
  3. Click Reset Password on the ADMIN user
  4. Enter and confirm a new password
